Day 1: Arrival in Fes

Welcome to Fes, one of Morocco’s most historic and fascinating imperial cities. Upon arrival at the airport, train station or another agreed meeting point, your private driver will meet you and transfer you to your accommodation in the city. After check-in, the rest of the day is free to relax and recover from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may take a short walk around the surrounding streets or enjoy some free time at your riad. Fes is famous for its ancient Medina, traditional souks, artisan workshops and remarkable cultural heritage. Day 2: Guided Tour of Fes

After breakfast, meet your local professional guide for a full sightseeing tour of Fes. Explore the historic Medina and its maze of narrow streets, traditional souks and artisan workshops. Discover important cultural and historical sites including Bou Inania Madrasa, the Al Quaraouiyine area, Nejjarine Square and the famous tanneries. Day 3: Fes to Chefchaouen

After breakfast, leave Fes and travel north toward Chefchaouen, the famous blue city located in the Rif Mountains. The journey offers beautiful mountain scenery and a completely different atmosphere from the imperial city of Fes. Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, explore the charming old Medina with its blue-painted streets, small squares, traditional houses and local shops. Walk through the peaceful lanes and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this mountain town. You can visit the Kasbah, explore the central square and take time to discover local handicrafts. The surrounding Rif Mountains also provide beautiful viewpoints over the town. Enjoy a relaxed evening in Chefchaouen and experience the town after the day visitors have left. Spend your third night in Chefchaouen.

Day 4: Chefchaouen to Volubilis, Meknes and Midelt

After breakfast, leave Chefchaouen and travel toward Volubilis, one of Morocco’s most important archaeological sites. Explore the impressive Roman ruins, ancient columns, mosaics and remains of this historic city. Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. Enjoy a visit to the historic medina, Bab Mansour and the main squares while discovering the city’s rich heritage. After the visit, continue south toward the Middle Atlas Mountains. The scenery changes dramatically as you travel through mountain landscapes and traditional rural areas. Continue toward Midelt, a town located between the Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountains and known for its agricultural landscapes and apple production. Arrive in Midelt in the evening, check into your accommodation and relax after a long day of discovery. Spend your fourth night in Midelt.

Day 5: Midelt to Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, continue your journey toward the Sahara Desert. Cross the spectacular landscapes of the Middle Atlas and continue through the Ziz Valley, where panoramic viewpoints reveal a beautiful oasis filled with palm trees. Continue toward Erfoud, known for fossils and dates, before reaching the desert town of Merzouga. In the afternoon, begin your camel trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Ride across the Sahara while enjoying the peaceful desert scenery and watching the colors of the dunes change as the sun moves toward the horizon. Arrive at your desert camp before sunset. Day 6: Merzouga to Todra and Dades Gorges

Wake early to enjoy the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes before breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4 and continue toward the spectacular landscapes of southern Morocco. Travel through Rissani and Erfoud before heading toward the Todra Valley. The route passes through changing desert and mountain scenery before reaching the dramatic Todra Gorge, famous for its towering limestone cliffs. Continue toward the Dades Valley and enjoy the landscapes of palm groves, traditional villages and unusual rock formations. Day 7: Dades Gorges to Ait Ben Haddou and Marrakech

After breakfast, leave the Dades Gorges and continue through the Valley of Roses and the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Travel toward Ouarzazate and continue to Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the traditional kasbah architecture and enjoy views over the surrounding landscape. After the visit, continue across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. The mountain road offers spectacular scenery and several opportunities for photographs and short breaks. As you descend toward Marrakech, the landscape gradually changes from mountain terrain to greener valleys and the Marrakech plain. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon or early evening.
