Today is dedicated to discovering Fes, one of Morocco’s most important cultural and historical cities. Meet your local guide and begin a walking tour through the ancient medina of Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its narrow streets, traditional markets, historic gates and artisan workshops. Visit the famous tanneries and discover the traditional craftsmanship that has been preserved for generations. Continue through the medina to see historic schools, traditional houses and important cultural landmarks. Your guide will explain the history and traditions of the city while you explore its lively atmosphere. The afternoon provides time to enjoy the local atmosphere and shop for traditional Moroccan products. Return to your accommodation in Fes for another night.

Stop at a panoramic viewpoint to admire the palm-filled valley surrounded by rocky mountains. Continue toward Erfoud and then travel to Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes. In the afternoon, begin your camel trek across the golden Sahara dunes. Watch the changing colors of the sand as the sun sets over Erg Chebbi. Arrive at your desert camp, enjoy a traditional dinner and spend the night under the peaceful Sahara sky. Overnight in a desert camp in Merzouga.
