Overview

This 8-day Morocco tour takes you from the modern coastal city of Casablanca to the cultural capital Fes, the golden dunes of Merzouga, and the vibrant city of Marrakech. The journey combines history, desert adventure, and authentic Moroccan experiences.

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Fes

Pickup from Casablanca. Morning visit to the Hassan II Mosque (exterior), then drive to Rabat to explore the Oudaya Kasbah, Hassan Tower, and the Royal Palace. Continue through the Rif countryside to Fes. Overnight in Fes.

Day 2: Full Day Visit of Fes

Guided tour of the Medina of Fes el-Bali, the oldest and most authentic medina in Morocco. Visit Al-Qarawiyyin University, the tanneries, the artisan quarters, the Jewish quarter, and the Royal Palace gates. Overnight in Fes.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Depart Fes through the Middle Atlas. Stop in Ifrane, Azrou cedar forest to see wild monkeys, and Midelt. Cross the Ziz Valley, then continue to Merzouga. Camel ride to the camp to enjoy sunset over the dunes. Dinner and overnight in a desert camp.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert Experience

Spend the day exploring the desert region. Visit Khamlia for traditional Gnawa music, meet nomad families, explore desert landscapes such as Ouzina and M’Fis mines, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon. Overnight in Merzouga.

Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Todgha Gorge – Dades Valley

After sunrise and breakfast, drive to Rissani to visit its traditional market. Continue to the Todgha Gorge for a walk between the cliffs. Head to Dades Valley via its scenic roads and rock formations. Overnight in Dades.

Day 6: Dades – Roses Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Drive through the Valley of the Roses and Skoura Oasis. Stop in Ouarzazate, then visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 7: Marrakech City Tour

Guided visit of Marrakech, including the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Menara Gardens, the Medina, and Jemaâ el-Fna Square. Free time to explore souks and local cafés. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 8: Departure from Marrakech

Transfer to Marrakech Airport or assistance with onward travel. End of the tour.
