Day 1: Ouarzazate to Dades Valley
Your private adventure begins in Ouarzazate as you travel toward the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Drive through the beautiful Skoura palm oasis and continue toward the Valley of Roses. Along the route, discover traditional adobe villages, green palm groves and dramatic mountain landscapes. Continue toward the Dades Valley and stop at scenic viewpoints overlooking the winding road and impressive rock formations. In the afternoon, explore the Dades Gorges and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this spectacular area. The combination of red cliffs, green gardens and traditional kasbahs makes the Dades Valley one of the most beautiful regions in southern Morocco. After the visit, check into your accommodation and enjoy a relaxing evening. Spend the first night in the Dades Valley.
Day 2: Dades Valley to Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, continue toward the Sahara through the spectacular Todra Gorge. Drive through Tinghir and its impressive palm oasis before reaching the towering cliffs of the gorge. Continue toward Erfoud, a town famous for fossils and dates, and then travel through Rissani, an important historic trading town. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga and prepare for your camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Ride across the golden sands while enjoying the peaceful desert scenery and changing colors of the dunes. Arrive at your desert camp before sunset and watch the sun disappear behind the Sahara dunes. Day 3: Merzouga Desert Experience
Wake early to enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast, continue exploring the Merzouga desert region. Discover local villages and learn about the traditions of communities living around the Sahara. Visit Khamlia village, known for its Gnawa music, and explore the surrounding desert landscapes. The valley is famous for its enormous palm groves, traditional villages and ancient kasbahs. Enjoy scenic stops along the route and discover the changing landscapes of southern Morocco. Continue through the Anti-Atlas Mountains toward the town of Agdz before reaching Ouarzazate. Depending on your schedule, you can visit a local kasbah or enjoy a short walk through a palm oasis. Arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon or evening and check into your accommodation. Enjoy a relaxing evening after the long desert journey. Spend the fourth night in Ouarzazate.
Day 5: Ouarzazate to Marrakech via Ait Ben Haddou
After breakfast, leave Ouarzazate and begin the journey toward Marrakech. Your first important stop is Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its narrow streets, traditional kasbahs and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the surrounding landscape. Continue through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Along the way, enjoy mountain scenery, traditional Berber villages and scenic viewpoints. The road gradually descends toward the plains around Marrakech. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon or evening and check into your accommodation. You can spend the evening exploring the city or relaxing at your hotel. Spend the fifth night in Marrakech.
Day 6: Marrakech Free Day and End of Tour
Enjoy a relaxed final day in Marrakech after your desert adventure. You can also enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal or simply relax at your accommodation.
